Originally built as the Medical Block and later Fairview Clinic, the challenge here was not only renovation but “de-institutionalization” – a complete change in the very character of the structure. Beginning with a closed-in building of more than 500 small rooms, we removed walls, tore out huge sections of flooring, incorporated spectacular windows and added a soaring, sky-lighted atrium. The renovation included a complete overhaul of electronic and wiring systems to accommodate 21st Century high-tech banking, as well as a state of the art drive-though to speed customers on their way.
“I would use Red Wing Construction again. You were courteous and reasonably on time. You were very good about explaining things. You were very neat and caring about how the project looked.”
“Thank you for the wonderful job Red Wing Construction did. We are very pleased with our new office. Your crew was hardworking, pleasant, and very flexible. The concept of adapting this space to two different dental specialties was very challenging. Mike Larson was so helpful and very creative with problem-solving many situations. Also, I was very happy with Mike’s promptness in returning my many phone calls. I appreciate your crew’s patience when working with all the different subs and our dental installers. Their excellent communication made a difficult job much easier.”
