Red Wing Construction Marks 25th Anniversary

Red Wing Construction Company began as a general contracting firm in 1981, marking this year as their 25th anniversary in the commercial construction industry. As their experience and company have grown, they have evolved into a premier Design/Build firm that creates the right building solution to meet businesses specific needs and budgets.

Red Wing Construction Company’s Design/Build approach is focused on making projects simpler, smarter, faster and more and efficient for their clients. Their in-house expertise enables them to successfully take projects from the conceptual design stage to completion. This process allows their clients to deal with just one entity, as opposed to several companies performing different services. This single source accountability offers Red Wing Construction Company’s clients reassurance that their project will be exactly what they had envisioned on time and on budget.

“Over the years, it has been important for us to build long-term relationships that last with our clients,” said Jeff Frost, president and CEO. “This has been the foundation of our success and growth over the years and is also reflected in the quality of work and the list of clients we have served multiple times. This is what sets us apart from other commercial builders. We live and work in the communities around here and have a stake in the overall success and continued growth of those communities.”

Red Wing Construction Company is Strong Community Supporter

Red Wing, MN – Red Wing Construction Company has a long history of being involved with projects that support the different communities they live and work in. During 2005, they participated in Red Wing Shoe Company’s 100 th Anniversary Celebration with the Boot Statue community art project.

Four-foot high replicas of Red Wing Shoe’s famous boot style #877 were created to mark this significant event. Thirty-five companies or organizations sponsored the boot statue event that lasted over a year.

“We wanted to show our support of the community and Red Wing Shoe, so we sponsored a Red Wing Construction boot statue,” said Jeff Frost, president and CEO. “We then gave the boot statue to the Red Wing YMCA and they had the kids design and decorate the boot, which was displayed on the corner in front of the YMCA.”

Another local event that Red Wing Construction strongly supports is the annual 4th of July fireworks celebration. Downtown Main Street is the non-profit organization in Red Wing that spearheads gathering funds from both local businesses and private citizens to ensure the event is possible for the community. Being a regular donor to the fund helps ensure that this family-oriented holiday event takes place each summer.

Specializing in the Design/Build process that takes projects from concept to completion, Red Wing Construction Company has grown into one of Southeastern Minnesota’s most noted commercial and industrial builders of financial and professional facilities, manufacturing and retail facilities, churches, banks, health care providers and historic renovations.
