With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Jeff founded Red Wing Construction Company 25 years ago as a general contracting firm that today employees some of the most skilled and experienced people in the construction industry. Jeff takes pride in getting to know his clients, staying involved with projects from beginning to end, and treating customers and employees alike with a respect and honesty that marks his every relationship.

 
Laurie Frost
Vice President

Laurie is a key player in today’s competitive industry. She oversees Red Wing Construction Company’s office staff to ensure quality and leadership while keeping an upbeat attitude to motivate and encourage her co-workers. Laurie stays current with the construction industry and news by being an active member of SHRM and the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce. She also attends city meetings as her schedule allows so she can stay current with project opportunities that may arise and gain continuing knowledge that assists her in her position at Red Wing Construction Company.

 

Teresa Gilbertson
Controller

Teresa is the person that manages all matters concerning accounting, computer systems, financial situations and most general issues that arise on a daily basis. As a graduate of the accounting program at Red Wing Technical College, Teresa was hired at Red Wing Construction in 1999 and since has completed her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance through Cardinal Stritch University. Teresa’s expansive knowledge and creativity are key factors in the success of Red Wing Construction Company; she is an important strategic member of the team.

Zac Hinrichs
Senior Estimator

Involved and specializing in difficult and elaborate undertakings which require complex estimates and coordination, Zac’s knowledge of all the facets involved in the construction of each project is indispensable. Joining Red Wing Construction almost 25 years ago as a carpenter, Zac has persevered to focus on estimating and bidding which has given him the knowledge and understanding to be customer focused and precise; these are his trademarks.

 


Chris Handy
Estimator

Chris has a wealth of knowledge and creativity regarding the construction industry. Chris has worked in the lumber industry for 13 years and now specializes in material estimates, procurement, project management and coordination. He has been involved in some of Red Wing Construction Company’s most impressive and complex projects to date. Chris persistently brings not only enthusiasm and humor to the office, but integrity and solid experience as well. After Chris joined the team in 2003 he has continually brought in new ideas and energy to Red Wing Construction Company.

Mike Larson
Project Manager

Being the go-to man, Mike consistently delivers projects of remarkable quality on time and on budget. He is an expert in procuring the correct materials for each project. Over the years, Mike’s role developed from foreman to project manager by demonstrating his mastery of both the intricate details of construction and the overall objectives of each project. Mike’s experience in managing challenging projects to meet critical deadlines is key to keeping projects in budget.

Sue Wallin
Payroll Administrator

Sue’s positive attitude and expertise in Human Resources and payroll functions keep the office team organized and up-to-date on all of the crucial and important issues facing businesses today. Sue has helped the company grow internally and provides support in several areas.
